Elizabeth O. Dulemba, a.k.a. “e,” was beamed to this planet with a pencil in her hand. Once she stopped chewing on it, she began to draw and write . . . Elizabeth’s first picture book, The Prince’s Diary, was named No. 1 2006 Valentine’s Day Pick by Book Sense in conjunction with the Association of American Publishers (AAP). One of her latest, the bilingual Paco and the Giant Chile Plant ~ Paco y la planta de chile gigante (for which she’s been learning to speak Spanish), made the CBC Magazine’s “Hot Off the Press List.” Look for several more books forthcoming in 2008 and 2009, including Oscar the Badger, written by a #1 New York Times Bestselling Author.

Elizabeth enjoys sharing her journey into children’s books at schools, conferences, and events and teaches “Beginning Drawing” and “Creating Picture Books” at the John C. Campbell Folk School. Visit her website to learn more and download free coloring pages.
