Derek Anderson is the acclaimed illustrator of the New York Times bestselling Little Quack, Little Quack's Hide and Seek, Little Quack's New Friend, and Over the River: a Turkey's Tale. His first offering as both author and illustrator, Gladys Goes Out to Lunch, was published by Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers in June 2005.

Derek's latest book is The Potty Train, published in 2008.
